Paint Mixing just got easier
Here at The Handy Cabin, we have partnered with Dulux to provide there extensive range of mixed paints as well as a colour scanning service enabling us to custom make paint colours to match your samples to help you create a paint that not only looks great, but also performs brilliantly. Available through Dulux Paint Mixing. You can choose your colour, function or finish and then get it mixed, so it is just right for the room you’re decorating.
Find out more about each of the four steps below.
Step 1. Pick a colour
Using our in store stripe cards and brochures, you can select from warm, cool and neutral colours to help you choose the perfect shade, or we can scan your own desired sample colour and mix it for you.
Step 2. Choose a function
Pick the right function for your room whether it’s moisture resistance for your bathroom to protect against mould, or light and space enhancing to brighten up your bedroom or hallway. You can also opt for hardwearing paint for your hallways, stain-resistant paint for your kitchen and weatherproof paint for your exterior surfaces.
Hammerite
Multi surface metal paint available in a smooth mid sheen finish, for both interior and exterior, can be applied direct to rust – no primer required.
Weathershield
Metal and wood paint for exterior use available in a gloss or satinwood finish (Primer and/or Undercoat may be required).
Weathershield Masonary
Exterior masonry paint available in smooth or textured finishes.
Cuprinol Garden Shades
Exterior wood and metal paint in a mid-sheen finish.
Wood
Interior wood paint available in a variety or finishes (Primer and/or Undercoat may be required).
Emulsion
Interior wall and ceiling paint available in a variety or finishes, also available in a choice of functional finishes for Kitchen, Bathroom or high durability.
Step 3. Select a finish
There are a wide variety of finishes available, which offer different sheen levels to give you the look you want. Please note that some functions are only available in selected finishes.
Wood
Gloss – High shine finish ideal for high traffic areas
Satinwood – Versatile mid sheen finish
Eggshell – Matt low sheen finish
Walls & Ceilings
Silk – High sheen finish
Soft Sheen/Mid Sheen – Versatile mid sheen finish
Matt – Matt low sheen finish
Flatt Matt – Flat matt ultra-low sheen finish
Step 4. Mix it up
Once you’ve selected your colour, function and finish, we can mix the paint in store while you wait, just speak to a staff member in store.
